NATURal clay

FRESH MATERIAL IN THE SUBSTRATEs

Natural clay is our trademark and makes up a high proportion in both our production and sales soils. For more than half a century we have been mixing natural clay as a fresh material into the substrates. In this way, it can achieve its positive effect in the entire root area when the soil is used in the culture pot.

STRENGTHENING PLANTS NATURALLY

Fresh natural clay increases the water storage and buffering capacity and reduces the wetting resistance. Substrates containing clay can be re-wetted more easily after drying out and ensure an even supply of water and nutrients. The clay minerals strengthen the plants in a natural way and reduce the use of pesticides.

Fresh natural clay also plays a key role in reducing the peat content. It acts as a balancing and connecting element between the different substrate components. It thus increases both the usability and application safety of peat-reduced or peat-free soils and substrates.

We mine the clay in our own company pit and thus have access to a fresh raw material of consistently high quality at all times.
